GoogleとAOL

はっきり言って、僕のイメージの中でAOLはもう過去のもの。
なんか、ネスケについてるんですっけ？
その辺もはっきりしない。

『AOLサーチ』ってのをどっかで見た記憶が…。
あいまい…。


そのAOLがここ数日のうちに、いろいろと話題になってまして、これは僕も気になってました。
だって、その相手が、GoogleかMicrosoftかってゆう、2大巨頭なんですから。

もともと、AOLはGoogleよりだったみたいで、それを捨ててMicrosoftとくっつくみたいな感じになってたんですが、結局はGoogleとの提携を強化したみたいで、やっぱGoogleなんだろうなぁ。なんて思ってたんですが。

参考リンクの2つ目、『AOLはGoogleの破滅の種？』の記事をみたら、そうでもなさそうな感じ。

確かに、以前のYahooなんか、検索結果と間違うような、広告の載せ方で、知らない人なんか多分クリックしちゃってたはず。
それに対してGoogleは検索結果が主、広告は右にちろっと。って感じがしてて、非常に好感持ってました。

まぁ、たまに右側の広告リンクすべてクリックしたりもするんですが…。
いや、たまにですよ…。

それがもし、2つ目の記事のように、画像付広告が出てきて、Googleのあの画面を覆うと考えたら…。

微妙…。

アダルトなキーワードで検索かけたら、まぁいいんでしょうが（何が…）、普通一般に検索して、右側にイメージ付の広告でてこられてもねぇ…。

GoogleがGoogleでなくなる感じがしますねぇ。

まぁ、変わっていかなきゃいけないし、変わらないと廃れていくかもしれないし、それはそれでしょうがないとは思いますが、さてどうなるか結果が楽しみです。

最後に書いてある「Googleよりも優れたGoogle」。

こんな会社だったら楽しいだろうなぁ…。

このチャンスに、今もひたすら動いてるであろう企業。

そんな会社起こしてみてぇ。
