納期

2005年09月02日

日付変わって2日になっちゃいましたけど、1日の話。


前回の記事で、案件2つ片付いた。と書きましたが、その案件のデータを送ったメールに、『もう一つの案件は早くて30日。遅くても1日には仕上げてメールで送ります』って書いちゃって…。
なんでこんなこと書いたんだろう。って思います。

実は8月31日は用事があって仕事があんまり出来ない。ってわかっていたので、30日に仕上げるか、1日に仕上げよう。って思ってたんです。


でも、やっぱりONとOFFを分けることができなくて…。


30日に9割方終わらせて、完成させてなかったんです。
予定通り31日はその仕事できず、まぁ1日にやっちゃおう。って考えてたんですが、1日になったらなったで朝からちょっと忙しく、なかなか完成せず、そのまま外出…。

夜10時ごろ先方から電話が…。


先方　『今日までっていいよったけど、どう？』

sho　『いや、えっと、あと画像化してメールで送るだけなんで、30分くらい時間をいただければ…』

先方　『この前いいよった、○○追加してくれた？』

sho　『え？　あ？　まだです。今からやります…』

先方　『うん、わかった。じゃあ、待っとくけん』


いや、大変です…。
その後急いで作って、メール送って、修正いただいて、修正してもう一度メールを送りました。

で、今。


大変ってゆうのは、作業が大変。とかじゃなくて、信用度の問題。


企業に属していれば、ある程度は企業が守ってくれるけど、個人で仕事を受けているからそんなことはありえない。

納期を守らない　=　仕事をちゃんとしない　＝　仕事を任せられない

となることは、重々わかってたつもりなんですが…。


甘かった。

やっぱりどこかで明日やればいいや。って気持ちがあったんだと思います。

次があることが、絶対ではないのに…。

こんな失敗するとは…。


やはり社会人として、人間として、まだまだ甘いのだと痛感しました…。

納期厳守が大前提ってのは会社に勤めてた時の方がしっかりできてたきがします。
なんせ次がつまってるからここまでに絶対終わらせないと。って危機感があったからでしょうねぇ。

とりあえず取り戻せるようにまた努力するのみですねぇ。
